Eric (guitar), Alan (bass) became good friends with Joe (drums) in Mrs. Hand’s kindergarten class. The three met Jeffery shortly after high school and realized they were on to something. After several different band configurations and some amount of traveling the Band was able to fully dedicate themselves to the music once band members Eric and Alan moved back to Western Massachusetts from schools and jobs out of state, particularly Kansas, Oklahoma and Texas. Three Blind Moose finally became firmly established in 2000.
On March first of 2003 the band released their debut CD "Cross on Route Nine". Much of the writing/ arranging for this album was done during rehearsal sessions in a run down cabin off Route 9 in Williamsburg MA (see above left)where singer/ songwriter/ guitarist Jeffery Hollen endured a couple of long cold winters.
