Janet Ryan has become a recognizable name in the Pioneer Valley of Western Massachusetts in the past year. Most recently, she was a finalist in the WRSI singer songwriter competition; played Theodores' in Springfield, MA, the Taste of Northampton, MA, the Pioneer Valley Blues Festival, and the Splendor in the Grass Festival at the Pines Theatre in Northampton. Having recently released her first CD *Passion and Fire*, she and her band Straight Up! have exploded into the local club scene, and continue to blow the audiences away with their high energy rocking blues. Janet writes most of the bands original material, and the songs have been played on radio stations WRSI 93.9, WRNX 100.9, WMUA 91.1, and WTCC 90.7
In addition to being a vocalist and songwriter, Janet teaches voice and piano at Community Music School of Springfield, as well as maintaining a group of private students in her hometown of Conway.
A master from the old blues school, guitarist Ray Chaput plays the blues classics with a twist of funk and ignites them into something new. Ray has done a couple of East Coast tours as a member of Sweet Daddy Cool Breeze's touring band. He has shared the stage with Ed Vadas, Mark Nomad, Jim Kaminski, Wailing Dave Robinson, Art Steele, Al Fuller and many others. Musician, Engineer, Producer, Singer/Songwriter, and Computer Guru are some of the many hats that Ray wears. A more detailed Bio is available HERE.

Joe Elliot, Multi-talented keyboardist and songwriter, Joe Elliot's successful music career has spanned over two decades. Whether on the road or performing locally Joe has proven his ability to capture an audience with his raw versatility. From his hot licks on the piano to his GET UP AND DANCE solos on his Hammond Organ, Joe will keep you coming back for more. His smooth organ and piano tones compliment the band nicely. He has played in many bands, most recently the Connecticut band The Hornets
Drummer/Percussionist Billy Klock and Bassist Dennis LeBeau have joined Janet,
Ray, and Joe.
Billy Klock has played with many excellent musicians, and has toured internationally. He had played or recorded with Greg Piccolo from Roomful of Blues, Dar Williams, John Coster, and many more artists.
Dennis LeBeau is an excellent bass player who has played with many great bands, including the Radiators. He's a very funny guy, too!
The band is laying down big fat grooves. They are currently in the studio recording tracks for their next CD.
